It's done with DHTML: a source file can be found here: [link] The techinquie is from a booktitled JavaScript & DHTML Cookbook by Danny Goodman. if you download the "source files" (linked above) unzip
and look at the folder named (../jsdhtmlcb-examplesjsdhtmlcb-examplesch1313-13) for the examples of using image replacment to create custom scrollbars.

tnx for the link jeff..it'll be a great help also..though im asking about the textbox or iframe..if that's what you used in the blog post..it has a different scrollbar..you customized it using other images..how did you do that? or that's not just
